Happy? Memorial Day
Is that how you’re supposed to greet people on Memorial Day? What’s “happy” about it?
Well, I for one am happy to remember those that are no longer with us. I have fond memories of my grandpa smoking cigars and taking a half hour to tell a story.
I’m also happy to live in such a great country where there are millions upon millions that have fought to protect our freedom. I am sincerely grateful to all of those who did so and do so.
