I’ve just downloaded the public beta of Beak. So far, I like a few things about it, but it doesn’t address all of the issues I raised in my previous post.
I like how most of the other clients minimize to the menu bar instead of the Dock; Beak does not. Also, while Beak supports multiple accounts, it doesn’t appear to do so simultaneously. You have to log out of one account to log into the other.
But, Beak’s beta is all of a few hours old. Things can and will be changed, so let’s hope that some of these early issues are addressed. In the meantime, check out the public beta at http://beakapp.com.
